For daily use

Akoya pearls, which have a strong image of luxury products, are sold for less than 10,000 yen if they are inexpensive.

However, pearls under 10,000 yen are often thinly wound, with the nucleus inside visible or of low luster. They can be used as accessories for daily use, but are not appropriate for formal jewelry.

Akoya pearls in the 10,000-20,000 yen price range are often scratched and have weak luster, so you may consider purchasing them if quality is not important.

However, pearls in the 7 to 8 mm size range are not available, so they cannot be used for formal wear.

In the price range of 30,000-50,000 yen, pearls with the luster characteristic of Akoya pearls are used, and the quality becomes usable for formal wear.

However, the quality of roundness may be low, or even if round, the pearl may be thinly wound.

For formal occasions

Pearls in the 50,000-100,000 yen price range are less flawed and have the beautiful roundness that is unique to Akoya pearls.

These tend to be the highest grade of Akoya pearls available.

In the 100,000-200,000 yen price range, you will find pearls with few blemishes and pearls that can be recognized as high-end even from a distance.

Akoya pearls have a unique beauty, and the difference from freshwater pearls is obvious.
